Question: Can I be a participant in both the Bessemer Campus Student Support Services Program and the Birmingham Campus Student Support Services Program?
Answer: No. These are two separately federally funded programs. You can only be a participant in one program


Question: Can I receive services from both SSS Programs?
Answer: No. These are two separate federally funded programs. You can receive services from only one program.

Question:
 Can I receive tutoring in all subjects?
Answer: Tutoring in only offered in Math, Biology and English.

Question:
 If I am a Bessemer Campus Student Support Services Participant and I do not get Pell Grant am I still eligible for Grant Aid?
Answer: SSS participants are eligible for Grant Aid only if they are Pell Grant recipients (Federal Funds). 

Question: 
Am I eligible for all other services and benefits if I do not receive PELL?
Answer: Yes 

Question:
 If I am a Bessemer Campus Trio SSS Participant am I required to participate in activities, workshops and trips to be considered an active participant?
Answer:  Active students are required to participate in at least two success seminars per semester in addition to meeting with the Academic Counselor/Coach at least once a semester.
