Department of Health and Physical Education
MISSION: The Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance is an integral part of the total educational program at Lawson State Community College. The primary focus of the Department is the education of students toward the development of physical, mentally, emotionally, and socially fit citizens through the medium of physical activities, which have been selected, with a view toward realizing these outcomes. The Department offers an Associate in Arts Degree Program in HPR and an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Recreation Leadership.
