The Lawson State Choir will present Letters of Hope, Fortune, Love and Drama on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 6 p.m. The concert will be held in the A.G. Gaston Auditorium at Lawson State's Birmingham Campus.

"We want to convey a sense of hope to all," said Mr. Bruce Henderson, choral director. "We are presenting inspirational music from different genres and different historical periods, stretching back to Mozart," he said.

The theme emerged from a class discussion about the state of current affairs, and how this is not the first time we are seeing world events like today, Mr. Henderson explained.

"Ultimately, we want our audience members to enjoy the concert and leave feeling uplifted and hopeful," he said.
