Lawson State Choir arrives in New York
The Lawson State Community College Choir has taken flight and headed to New York to
perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. They are doing so as part of a special residency
program featuring a conductor from the state of Alabama. Lawson State has about twenty
people traveling to participate in this historic occasion. While in New York City
the students and support faculty will attend a Broadway play and the choir will perform
at Pleasant Grove Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn. Let's all wish the choir well and
celebrate them as they represent the college and state in this momentous once in a
lifetime concert.
