Media production classes teach students to analyze, evaluate and create dynamic, effective media content and to understand the role of media in our society. Students learn production techniques including recording, mixing and editing and become proficient in writing and developing content for a variety of media platforms. Graduates of the program are prepared to enter careers in video, film, television, radio, sound design, podcasting, photography, journalism, digital media, online content creation, and public relations.
This degree is designed for students seeking to become multi-skilled technicians. The AAS includes both a primary technical specialty and a secondary technical specialty.
