Manufacturing Technology

Manufacturing technology refers to techniques and processes designed to improve manufacturing quality, productivity, and practices. In the Manufacturing Technology program, students are trained in the operation and maintenance of automation machinery and equipment used in a facility, including programmable logic controllers, mechanical systems, fluid power, and robotics.

Benefits of Choosing Manufacturing and Engineering Technology

Manufacturing is a high-demand industry and is experiencing a skills gap—meaning there are more available jobs than there are qualified workers. Since the job market is in high demand, employers are offering higher wages and better benefits to retain skilled workers.  Also, there are many opportunities to advance your career in manufacturing.  From working up to a manager role to transitioning to a different department such as sales or operations, individuals have opportunities to shape their futures.
