Cecilia Curry-Wade
This program gives an array of training that will benefit you in the
Hospitality industry. Hospitality services goes far beyond "front of the house " and hotel management. There are so many careers that will lead you from the corporate world to traveling around the world!
Cecelia Curry Wade enrolled into the Lawson State Community College Culinary Arts program during the Summer of 2022. From the start, she knew that this was the right decision for accomplishing her next life goal, completing her associate's degree. Mrs. Wade quickly dove into the program, grasping the basics and techniques in the Culinary field, as well as the business and legal concepts inherent in the Hospitality Service
Management side of the curriculum, maintaining a 3.8 GPA in the process. When she isn't attending college classes, Cecelia is active Army Reserve Soldier with over 37 years of military service and works fulltime for the federal government as an Army Reserve Administrator, utilizing her vast knowledge and expertise as a Senior Human Resources Professional to support and assist Citizen Soldiers.

Program Requirements

This program offers a Short Certificate, a Certificate, and an Associate in Applied Science Degree.

This degree is designed for students seeking to become multi-skilled technicians. The AAS includes both a primary technical specialty and a secondary technical specialty. 

The long certificate better prepares you to enter the workforce.
