Building Construction

In the Building Construction program, students study materials and methods used in the construction industry, framing, interior and exterior finishes, and concrete applications. Students are also instructed in safe and proper use of hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power equipment.

Benefits of Choosing Construction

Due in part to a skills gap in the construction industry, there is a great need for skilled construction professionals. Graduates of the program are prepared for a variety of careers including residential and commercial carpentry, general construction, working at building supply stores or lumberyards, and other positions in the construction industry.
