The Business and Information Technologies Division offers the following programs: ASSOCIATE IN ARTS DEGREES (AA)--The Associate of Arts degrees are with a Business and Technology-emphasis and are designed for students who plan to transfer to a business or technology program at a four-year college/university. The AA degrees consist of 62 hours.
ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREES (AAS)--The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees entail hands-on experiences and affords each student the opportunity to understand real-life experiences through internships. Because of the skills obtained in the AAS program, students are prepared to go directly into the workforce. The AAS degrees consist of 69 (Office Administration—Medical Concentration) or less hours.
The Certificates entail specific skills-based training in preparation for a specific area in Business and Information Technologies. The programs are 41 or less credit hours. Students can complete the program within one year and the certificate hours can be transferred into the degree program. The Short Certificates gives the students the essentials of the program area's curriculum that specific skills-based training in preparation for the workforce. The programs are 28 or less credit hours. Students can complete the program within two or less semesters and the short certificate hours can be transferred into the long certificate and degree program.
