Our ESL program is designed to help individuals develop their English language skills in practical, real-life contexts. Whether you're new to the English language or looking to improve your proficiency, our comprehensive ESL curriculum focuses on teaching English skills through a variety of engaging and relevant methods.
The Non-Traditional High School Diploma Option (HSDO) program, provides an alternative pathway to high school graduation for eligible individuals in Alabama. Offered through: Alabama Community College System in partnership with the Alabama State Department of Education.
The program provides two options:
Option 1 - Adults who attended an Alabama high school and earned enough credits to graduate, but did not pass the high school graduation exam.
Option 2 - Adults who earned 10 or more credits from an Alabama high school and requires additional credits for high school completion.
Students will earn a High School Diploma Upon Completion
The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (ACT NCRC) is an assessment-based credential powered by ACT WorkKeys. The NCRC is earned by completing three WorkKeys Assessments:
The NCRC is accepted by more than 10,000 employers nationwide as a reliable way to verify individuals' work skills.
Alabama Career Essentials MAPS (ACE MAPS) is a FREE training course designed by the Alabama Community College System to provide eligible students with industry driven skills in career clusters that are in-demand in Alabama.
ACE MAPS graduates receive:
