Canvas is the college's Learning Management System (LMS) that houses course work for all
Lawson State classes. All students need to access Canvas the first day of class for announcements, assignments, homework, virtual classes,

Use your single sign-on User name and Password when logging into Canvas. This is the same User name and Password you use for eMail and MyLawson.
Use the Credentials detailed below to login your Canvas student account:
User Name: Your A-number+ @alabama.edu A00012346@alabama.edu
Password: Use the password you established when you set up your alabama.edu EMAIL address. If you cannot remember, set up a new password. See password recovery information below.
Password Recovery: Lawson State uses a single sign on platform to access Canvas, eMail and MyLawson. Email, however, controls all three. Thus, if you cannot login to Canvas, you will have to change your email password. Once you do, use that same login (User Name and Password) to access your Canvas account.
Follow these steps to complete your password recovery process:
Use the password you established when you set up your alabama.edu EMAIL address. If you cannot remember your email password go to the EMAIL login page and go through the automated password recovery prompts to set up a new password. To do so, go to the EMAIL Login page. Enter your alabama.edu EMAIL User name and click NEXT. That will take you to the Password page. Select the "Forget Your Password" feature to recovery your password. Once you recover your EMAIL password, you will be able to gain access to Canvas, Email and MyLawson.
