T. A. Lawson State Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the Associate degree. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Questions about the accreditation of T. A. The Office of Student Records / Registrar  primarily stores and maintains student academic records. This office provides transcripts of students academic records (official and student copies), facilitates registration each semester for credit classes, verifies and certifies student enrollment status. In addition, the office processes grade changes, certificates and degrees, and changes in student information. Specific registration information is distributed before each semester begins.

Student Services "A" Building, Suite 192 (Bessemer Campus)
Academic Success Building, First Floor; Suite 130 (Birmingham Campus)
Normal Hours:  8:00 a.m.  - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Thursdays;  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Fridays.
Mini-Term 2 Hours (after first week):  8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Mondays & Tuesdays only; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Wednesday - Fridays.
Summer Hours:  7:30 a.m. -6:30 p.m. Monday - Thursdays beginning June - July of each year.  Office Closed on Fridays.
