The Associate of Occupational Technology
The Associate of Occupational Technology curriculum provides individuals with an opportunity to upgrade their skills and to earn an Associate Degree by taking courses suited for their occupational interests and/or needs. The curriculum content is individualized (per program) according to occupational trends, local business and industry. A program of study for each student will be selected from associate degree-level courses (courses numbered 100-200 level) offered by the College. Graduates will become effective workers, better qualified for advancements within the field of employment, and become qualified for a wide range of entry-level employment opportunities.
Note: Students should seek advisement as it relates to course selection for all AOT degrees. Specific courses within one's trade cannot be transfered towards a four year degree. However, general education courses taken as part of the degree, are transferable to include: English
