What is Everify?
E-Verify is an online system that compares information from an employee's I-9 Form (Employment Eligibility Verification), to data from U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration records to confirm employment eligibility.
E-verify was created by The U.S. Department of Homeland Security to stop unauthorized employment.
While participation in E-Verify is voluntary for most businesses, some companies may be required to use it by state law or federal regulations.
