Women's Head Volleyball Coach
Aubrey Wiley enters his 16th season as the head coach of the women’s basketball and volleyball programs at Lawson State Community College. Coach Wiley graduated from Alabama Southern Community College and continued his education at Auburn University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Promotion. During his playing days at Alabama Southern and Auburn University, he was named AJCC player of the year, All Region Team, All Conference First Team and led the SEC in rebounding his senior year. Coach Wiley has played professionally in Spain, Turkey and Finland.
Assistant Volleyball Coach
Entering her 14th coaching season, Jamie Gill is continuing her career path with Lawson State Community College as the new assistant volleyball coach. In 2016, Jamie Gill was the head coach at Coosa Valley Academy in Harpersville, AL & led her team to the school’s first State Championship finishing undefeated for the season with a 26-0 record. In 2015, she took her team to their first ever state tournament appearance & finished third. Prior to coaching at Coosa Valley Academy, Jamie Gill spent six years as the head coach at Chelsea High School in Chelsea, AL. Gill currently coaches a club team, Elite Juniors, that was established in 2016.
A native of Tampa, FL., Gill earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Studies. She played 4 years of collegiate level volleyball, two at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University & two at St. Petersburg College.
